Error Messages

"SEN" error message
There is a possible problem with the Thermal Sensor.

WARNING: To prevent the risk of electric shock, disconnect the unit from its electricity source before you start looking at any parts.
WARNING: Do not work on a hot grill - risk of burning.

First, check if the Thermal Sensor is being obstructed in any way.  This could be the way the grease tray is inserted, loose aluminium foil , a build up of grease and debris, etc.  If any of these, please remedy.

If the "SEN" code continues to be displayed:
  1. Unscrew the 2 tiny Philips head screws on the front control panel (shown in picture) and pull the control panel out towards you. You may let the panel hang.
  2. Locate the small two pin plug shown in picture.
  3. Check to be sure that plug is securely installed. It is a good idea to disconnect the plug and reattach it firmly.
  4. Inspect the wires from the plug in step 4, be sure they are not bent or damaged.
  5. If this has not resolved the issue your unit will require a new thermal sensor. If your problem is covered under Warranty, please contact the dealer you purchased it from.  If not, simply either buy one online or contact your dealer.

The Fan Motor, Auger Motor, or Ignitor are experiencing a Power Overload.

This could be caused by your unit being connected to an unstable supply (particularly if used away from home), or by being connected to a circuit that also powers appliances that turn on/off intermittently e.g. heavy-duty refrigeration.

Reconnect your unit to a stable, consistent power supply.

If this doesn't rectify your problem, please contact customer support at 0800 644 4141
